URBANIZATION IN INDIA

Urbanization has become a common one of Indian Society. Today growth of industries promoted new cities.  Industrialization makes people to move newly developed industrial areas to have their life. This has resulted in the growth of new towns and cities. In this vast country Industrialization, Modernization, Employment factors, Social factors are the causes of Urbanization.
Industrialization moves the agriculture people from their rural area towards cities. They loved to work in the new employment circumstances. Modern infrastructure, improvement of information technology, medical care, and education give pleasure to the rural people and make them to migrate to lead a comfortable life towards urban. Our only employment in the rural area is agriculture but that depends upon the monsoon. When they are unable to continue their process they simply look their eyes towards  cities. Social factors such as better education, better standard of living makes them to migrate rural to urban.
Urbanization is a form of social transformation from traditional rural societies to modern urban societies. It is a long term process.
In India economic growth is both a cause and consequence of urbanization. Cities are main causes for the growth.  Economic development of India requires growth of economic then only India can became a developed country within few years . The over crowed population in cities reduces the transaction cost. Services may very cheap and easy while comparing to the rural area. The development of the cities has a close relation between the urbanization and the economic development of India.
Rural people have to be urbanized for the development of the Indian economic development. Indian economy stared with agriculture income and ends with agricultural employment being a very small fraction of the total labor force.
India needs to make urban planning a central, respected function, investing in skilled people, rigorous fact base and innovative urban form. Only making rural people to urbanization then only our goal of Urbanization will be fruitful.
Urbanization is a process of becoming urban, moving to cities, changing from agriculture to other pursuits common to cities - Mitchell

Teacher

Teachers are at the very heart of our educational system. An Improvement in our Education demands not only a qualitative improvement in the content and methods adopted , but teachers who are professionally well-equipped and intellectually well-endowed.

The National Curriculum  Frame work 2005 pays attention to the role of the teacher, and acknowledges that a teacher works in multifarious contexts. A teacher should be knowledgeable not just about the background of students, and the national and international contexts in which education operates. She should also be concerned about achieving the aims and objectives of equity, social justice, gender equality and excellence. She should be sensitive and answerable towards national concerns. In order to fulfill these expectations it is necessary that teacher-education encompasses such elements as are required for making teachers capable in these respects.
